Spoonbill

27 Mar

I just gone right up the Farlington Marshes. I seen a spoonbill. Some people think they are called spoonbills because their bills are spoony. This is not true. In fact, it is very difficult to eat soup with a spoonbill’s bill. Unless it is dead. The real reason they are called spoonbills is that they like to sleep snuggled up next to men called William.

I also seen this marsh harrier. Harriers are named after the jet fighters because they can fly too.
