I Am A Published Wildlife Photographer…

13 Jan

Today, I have become a published wildlife photographer. My local paper; The News, printed one of my photos in their “Your View” section.

It is good to see that, unlike some local rags, they check what they publish thoroughly and only use trustworthy sources. Like me. No printing anything anyone sends them without checking it for accuracy for my local newspump. No. Just good, honest real factual facts.

Please don’t send in images with false information to The News as you have done recently regarding the so called ‘wasp kestrel’,

With the your view page we really do try to trust members of the public to send in the correct detail with their images and to not be silly making up fake names.

Sadly we do not have time to check if people are purposely trying to send in misleading information so that they may try to purposely ‘catch us out’, as some sort of self satisfying game that they are playing.

This is wasting our time and wasting the time of the readers of The News.

I see your site and understand that you have sent in the image with the false information and then put the info on your internet site and made unpleasant and misleading remarks towards The News.

We put your image in our paper in good faith, not to be tricked because we didn’t know every type of kestrel and don’t check every single piece of information sent in by our readers for this page. There is an element of trust people have here in human nature, and we trust within reason people will be truthful regarding images they send in.

I’d find something better to do than bother busy people, who are trying to produce a good and informative read for it’s many happy followers.

You will be banned if you send in anymore images to The News, as we obviously sadly cannot trust you aren’t playing ‘your strange game’ with us.

    Regards
