I can't have this one because badgers are not technically a bird. Apparently.

great idea.. will seeing birds perched on signs (road/car park/toilet etc)
    qualify ?

Sign spotting is brilliant. It’s took me 383 days to get to 129 species in conventional bird seening. With sign spotting I am on 90 species after just 7 days. And I don’t even need to be able to identify the birds myself, because it says their names right next to the pictures.
